When I post videos about all of these products, it can be hard to choose what one is best for you. While we all have our own personal preferences, I think it's important to point out that the same shade(s) may look different from person to person. So please keep that in mind.
You can't win them all when it comes to wanting to love a product and that is why we likely all suffer from owning more lip products than we likely ever planned to own in the first place! Am I right? Whether it's the wrong shade, too thick, too bright, too shiny, too glossy, etc...it just doesn't work.
And if you are like me - the next big shiny toy comes along and claims to be better than any others to ever hit the market - you run out to purchase it as soon as it hits the shelves.
To expand on the videos about the new Elf and NYX products I talked about this weekend, here's my overall opinion on those lip and cheek products! I hope this helps.

Elf lip oil - I think for the price, this is a really great product. I like the fact that there isn't too much product in it so that you are more likely to use the whole tube than end up tossing aside before you finish it. It also includes some great ingredients that feel nice once you apply it on your lips.

NYX fat oil Slick Click shiny lip balm - while I do love the colour and the light texture with a semi-gloss finish, this may be a cold weather only type of product for me. All of these balms that are in these click style packaging are great for application onto the lips, but they can smush or melt down to nothing in warmer temperatures. No one wants that!

NYX fat oil lip drip - this for me is a standout product that I think really lives up to the hype. If you are looking for a good, less expensive dupe for the Dior one, this is a good option. I am waiting for them to release the new NYX duck plumber lip gloss in PEI which I have not seen here yet but super excited to test out!

Elf Camo liquid blush - yes to this one for me. If you like a liquid blush, this may be the one for you. It blends so nicely into the skin and is also buildable if you want to add more colour to it. There are a variety of colours and the darker ones offer a more pigmented option if that is what you are looking for. The quality you get for that price is also another reason why I am so impressed with it. Way to go Elf!!! Another product I absolutely love!
A few of the other products I mentioned or discussed:

Lancome Juicy Tubes: This was a staple for me many years ago...for maybe almost an entire decade. So when they discontinued them, I was devastated so you can only imagine my excitement when they brought these babies back. This is only for those that like a thick gloss that sticks to the lips for a long time. This can lead to long hair strands sticking to them as well which can really be a turn off for some. I understand not wanting that but it's not enough to dissuade me from not always having one in my collection!

MAC cremesheen lipstick in modesty - the universal lipstick that would look good on almost all skin tones. If you are looking for a neutral lipstick that has a hint of colour, this is a fabulous choice. It's buildable coverage with a semi-glossy shine finish. It is a muted neutral pink so if you want more of a natural look, it really does just that.

Rare Beauty liquid blush - these are a bit messy to apply and go on very pigmented so you need to be careful when applying. It does offer a great longer wearing finish to your cheeks which I do like but I actually mix it with a highlighter before applying so it's not as dark or harsh when I apply.

Loreal Paris Bond Repair pre-shampoo rescue - a five minute hair treatment applied to damp hair before you wash it. This drugstore hair product is a must for me especially for the price. I have been extremely happy with the results and I will continue to use. The price is soooooo right!
Again, please know I realize what I love may not be what you love so I am always interested in hearing your input and feedback should you decide to try any of the above.
There are a lot of drugstore finds out there these days and I am so impressed with the selection and quality of products available. I am also aware that even the drugstore products have their premium pricing with prices continuing to rise. I do keep an eye open to find sales and deals if I can save a few dollars. Anything helps these days and when brands like ELF knock it out of the park with these amazing products you don't have to splurge on the premium ones if you don't want to. You can look fabulous on any budget:)
Thank you!
